In a recent interview, Bonneau discussed the difference between his firm and most other injury law firms.
“God gives each of us a purpose; a mission by which we can serve God and others by the things we do and the things we say. I struggled to find my purpose for a while but a chain of events that occurred midway through my career helped me to realize that God put me here to do more than just obtain million dollar settlements.
Although making handsome profits is one of our goals, our purpose is much more than that. I discovered that my unique makeup and temperament was specifically designed by God to equip me in helping people who are hurting. My old self mismanaged that temperament to selfishly serve my own interests. My new self has recognized that God instilled that passion in me as a gift, but to please him, and help others.
When I channel the passion that surfaces in me when a wrong has been done, I have an advantage, and so do my clients. What used to get me in trouble, now produces fruit that helps others and pleases God. Pleasing God by the things we do and say is really the main purpose for all of us. I have found that purpose, and that is how our law firm is different.”
